Best Beach in Nova Scotia

What do you think is the best beach in nova scotia?

I vote for the Kejimkujik Seaside Adjunct in Port Joli - miles of white sand beach, HUGE surf, and baby blue water. Can't beat it!

I am convinced that Queens County, Nova Scotia has some of the best beaches in Canada. I would add this beach to your list:

Carters Beach, Port Mouton

Sheltered cove beach with beautiful white sand. A small fresh water stream passes through the far end of the beach that provides hours of fun for kids (and some big kids too). This pristine, horseshoe beach is spectacular to photograph and never (and I mean never) crowded!

Used alot recently by divers and the sheltered cove by sailors (including several hollywood stars and music personalities).

Great place for birding as well. Rare piping plover often seen in the area during the summer months.

For us the best beach ever is the "Martinique Beach" on the Marine Drive.

how do i get to these beaches please?
Hi

Myself and my fiancee plan to holiday in Canada from the 3rd June until the 14th June. We are flying into Montreal on the 3rd and we fly back from Halifax to London on the 14th June.

In addition to amazing scenery in a relaxing environment, I would love to try kayaking, fishing, whale watching and would love to see the northern lights? Is this possible?? Thanks in advance.

You would probably have more luck seeing the Northern Lights in England than in the parts of Canada you are visiting. England is located quite a bit further North than the majority of the population of Canada (Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia) You might see the Northern lights in a city like Edmonton which is the only major city far north but still only about the same latitude as England. Sorry but you would most likely have to fly to the territories even then its doubtful.

Best beach in Nova Scotia: MacLeod's beach in Dunvegan, Inverness County. Great camping too.
