surfing spots for the first timer

Hi,

I am new to surfing (only surfed 4 or 5 times) and I'm looking for a good beach to surf to learn. Something without a lot of rocks, undertow, etc.. Something sandy like White Point Beach in queens county?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Gavin

Dear Gavin:

I agree that Nova Scotia has many beautiful, sandy beaches have you heard of the beach in Ingomar, Roseway
beach its great. The beach is one mile long and can be driven to by car, the storm seasons in Fall and winter
make the beach a popular spot for all!

Other beaches to consider for surfing in the late summer and fall:

Summerville Beach, Summerville, Queens County
